Gosh-dammit this mealoaf just lives and lives. It's a little like Frankenstein, brought back from the grave(y) one more time. We just can't waste all that good stuff, can we now.
So it's another supper time. Fighting off the instinct to go have a Fuel burger (check them out at - http://www.burgerfuel.com/au/ - go and have one if you're local; otherwise demand for them to move to your region, they're funky/brilliant/cool and taste great. They even run their vans on recycled chip oil - how brilliant is that?) it was time to do a bit of my own recycling. Hey dude! Let's save the planet, one meal at a time, man.
And so the meatloaf, having transmogrified into sauce for pasta yesterday, rode out again.
Tonight (actually, technically, Last Night)! Baked Potato Suprise!! To be more precise, jacket potato with meatloaf sauce and salad. Humble, filling and rather good. I don't think that's bad, do you? Three good meals out of one starter dish. I feel the blood of the Buchanan's (which mother swears runs in our bloodline, but judging by the colour of the tartan - mustard and mauve - I feel we could have chosen a prettier clan to which to cleave) swelling in my veins.
You will be delighted to know that this now marks the end of the meatloaf. It had a good innings and will be much missed.
